Guidance for your visit

Attention: For your visit for this year's Polymesse, you will need a Swiss COVID-certificate, which we will check together with your identity document. Furthermore you are required to wear a mask at the fair ground.

No matter if you are looking for employment, a master thesis or an internship – preparation is the be-all and end-all for a succesful visit at a job fair. Start by having a look into our fair guide, to check which companies might be a fit. Read their company profile and use the internet to inform yourself. Look up on which days they have a booth at Polymesse and when you have time to meet them and have a first conversation. Face-to-face interactions can be very advantageous for a future application! Additionally, some companies do a Polyvortrag (a presentation) about possible career paths, the working atmosphere in their company, or other topics.

Ideally, you should prepare all your application material in advance to Polymesse. We want to help you for this with our preparation talks, CV checks and the application photo service. Make use of this possibility and register in advance for a CV check or the application photo service.

Apart from that no registration is required to visit Polymesse or the Polyvorträge. During the three days of Polymesse, you can just walk to the booths in main building and in the tent on Polyterrasse. The company representatives are at their booths from 10am to 4pm.

You're not satisfied with your preparation or you need help with your application? The ETH Career Center offers consultation services regarding your application or career planning free of charge. You can find all necessary information and further explanations in their application guide.
